Errors and problems on VIP Casino

I was disconnected in the middle of a game. What should I do?

Please reconnect to VIP Casino and you will be able to resume your game at the exact point you left. However, please be patient as in some cases it takes several minutes for the server to update your files.

While trying to play VIP Casino Live, I get the error message "Cannot find dsound.dll" or "Cannot find ddraw.dll". What should I do?

VIP Casino Live uses Microsoft's DirectX technology for sound and graphics. If you are getting one of these error messages you need to download the latest version of DirectX which can be found at the Microsoft DirectX download page. Please click on the "Home User Downloads" and then on the latest version of Direct X.

I have Game Freezing/Loading Problems.

Sometimes games will freeze or not load at all due to a computer not matching the minimum system requirements, video card problems or by not having the latest video card drivers. Please complete the following steps to try and correct your problem. If the problem persists or you need help walking through the steps, please contact us via the number below or you can select the Phone Me option from your software and a customer service representative will contact you shortly thereafter.

Go to the Microsoft website and install the latest direct X driver.
Set your screen resolution to 800 x 600 and your color to High Color 16 Bits. You can do it by right clicking on a blank area of your desktop, going to properties, clicking on the Settings tab and then setting the screen area to 800 x 600 pixels. Then adjust your color under the same tab.

Click on game settings from the lower left hand corner of the casino software main page and uncheck the voice, sound and animation boxes. (The area on the software where you are able to choose Games, Cashier, etc.)

You may also want to check that you have the most recent updates to your Windows Program (i.e. Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP) : Microsoft update site

Be aware that if you are using Windows XP you may need to disable the firewall in order to play our games.

How do I Uninstall/Re-Install?

Please exit out of the casino and all other programs you have running. Click on Start from your menu bar, then select programs and find the casino. Here you will select uninstall and wait for the process to complete. (Alternatively you may click on my computer/ control panel then add remove programs).

You will then need to install the software again from your CD-Rom or the Casino website. Now you can begin to restore your account.

Launch the casino and proceed to the Login Screen, then select register/activate. Select Restore Existing account, type in the requested details and you will be able to use your existing account once again.
