FAQs
The following questions have been prepared to address queries from players with cards issued in countries previously restricted from making any VISA withdrawals.
- Why am I allowed to withdraw with my card now?
VISA International has recently updated their list of countries restricted from receiving payments back to their credit cards. We have updated our systems in-line with their updated directive.
- What am I supposed to do now that the funds were sent back to a card I no longer use?
We can confirm for you if the transaction went through successfully to your card issuer. Please provide us with the transaction information for us to investigate further for you.
In the meantime, please contact the card issuer advising them of your case. If you still hold an account with them, they should be able to transfer the funds to one of your active accounts. Otherwise, they would place the funds in a suspense account reserved for unclaimed transactions. If so, ask them to identify a pending transaction from ECash Direct.
One of our ECash representatives will be contacting you shortly to confirm the status of your withdrawal.
NOTE: ECash will retrieve the ARN (Acquirer’s Reference Number) code, which confirms the transaction was accepted by the player’s card issuer. An ECash rep will then send an email to the client quoting the ARN to the client for their card issuer to trace the transaction in their system.
- I want my withdrawals to go back to my current card, not my old cards. What should I do?
Withdrawals will only be sent to cards used within the past 7 months. For payment account security, funds deposited to your ECash Direct account by more than one credit card will be withdrawn to the appropriate credit card in the reverse sequence that the funds were deposited.
So if you deposit funds by using your Visa Card 1 and then Visa Card 2, when you withdraw the funds, they will be refunded to your Visa Card 2 first, followed by Visa Card 1. Only after the exposure has been met in both your Visa Card 1 and 2, can you withdraw more funds to your current Visa Card 2.
