Michael 'Timex' McDonald could be set for a dramatic return to live poker tournaments at this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP), it has been revealed.
Having made millions from the sport at the tender age of 19, Timex decided to call time on his burgeoning career, despite him being one of the brightest up-and-coming stars in the game in 2009, according to Poker Listings.
"Poker is something that I enjoy and I'll always want as a hobby - hopefully a profitable one - for the rest of my life but not something that I want to be playing all day when I'm 50," he said.
However, it has emerged that he could be making a comeback to the game that was so good to him in the past over the coming months.
Meanwhile, the first ever ten-game mix poker tournament in the WSOP was won last week by amateur player Chris Lee.
His efforts were rewarded with his first WSOP gold winner's bracelet, as well as a cheque for $254,955.
