Nicole Ritchie presents Palazzo casino party

Celebrity Nicole Ritchie will host the upcoming New Year's Eve party at the Palazzo casino's Lavo venue, it has been announced.

A statement from the Las Vegas resort and its sister site The Venetian revealed The Simple Life star will be at the club on December 31st to oversee the event, which costs $150 a person to attend.

Starting at 21:00 local time, attendees will have access to an open bar for two hours, as well as receiving complimentary hors d'oeuvres and champagne to toast the beginning of 2010.

After midnight, they can also use their tickets to gain entry to Tao at The Venetian, a club popular among celebrities and famous faces from the world of gambling.

Other Palazzo venues hosting new year parties include First Food & Bar, Salute Lounge and Lagasse's Stadium, which the casino resort claims is "the ultimate sports bar and sportsbook in Las Vegas".
