The Sands Casino Bethlehem has extended the number of slot machines on offer at the venue, adding another 250 machines to its gaming floor.
Owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands, the establishment was opened to the public in May 2009 with 3,000 slot machines and about 1,000 members of staff employed at the casino.
As well as the addition of a number of new gaming machines, the gaming venue has also launched a pair of restaurants that have provided jobs for another 80 people.
Robert DeSalvio, president of the company, told the Express-Times newspaper that the new facilities on offer at the casino finished the first phase of the development and give the venue the "complete complement of restaurants we want".
Earlier this month, Las Vegas Sands announced that it was planning to restart work on its new mega-project in Macau that was stopped because of the company's financial difficulties.
