Zowie Bowie rumored for Palms stint

Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor's entertainment act Zowie Bowie could be heading to the Palms casino in Las Vegas later this year, according to the rumor mill.

Gossip columnist Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review Journal wrote that rumors are circulating that the duo could take their popular Red Rock Resort show to the much bigger venue, with a debut scheduled for March 6th.

He claimed that the group "have been building steam and buzz" over the last few months, which may have helped bring them to the Palms' attention.

While Zowie Bowie could be about to step into the Las Vegas limelight, Elton John looks set to leave it, at least for the time being.

The Rocket Man singer is to draw the curtain on his Red Piano concert series at Caesars Palace on April 21st after over four years and more than 240 shows. The first Red Piano gig took place in February 2004.
