Radio show launched by Phillips

Card sharp Dennis Phillips has officially launched his new radio show, The Lumiere Place Final Table.

The 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event third-place finisher posted a link to last Tuesday's broadcast in his blog and promised that three-time WSOP bracelet holder Barry Greenstein will make an appearance on his second show tomorrow night (February 3rd).

On night one, poker coach Joe McGowan and co-host Paul Harris all discussed the game with Phillips, with a showdown between the latter and Ivan Demidov at the WSOP main event high up on the agenda.

Next week, the poker show will be broadcast live from the poker room at the Lumiere Place casino and is open to the general public.

"You're invited to be there and to join us afterwards as we sit down and play in their cash games," Phillips remarked.

Phillips has been relatively quiet on the poker circuit since the conclusion of the WSOP main event, but did manage a cash finish in a preliminary tournament at the recent European Poker Tour Caribbean Adventure.
