Several celebrity sportsmen have been confirmed as attending next month's Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge for Charity Super Bowl event in Tampa, Florida.
Ed Moses, the two-time 400-metre hurdles Olympic champion, will join Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Lawrence Taylor, Basketball Hall-of-Famer Clyde Drexler and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro at the occasion, which will benefit two local charities.
The gambling event is organized by the Joyner-Walker Foundation, which was co-founded by Super Bowl-winning linebacker Seth Joyner.
Naming the Judeo Christian Health Clinic and the Kid's Charity of Tampa Bay as the two beneficiaries, the former Denver Bronco remarked: "It is only appropriate that events like this give back to the host city communities."
The poker and golf competition takes place on January 29th, two days before Super Bowl XLIII gets underway.
It is one of the few Super Bowl events that the general public can attend free of charge.
