No tickets left for Longoria casino evening

The First Annual Tony & Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night has sold out, it has been revealed.

On the website for the event, which is being hosted by Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, it is claimed that all of the $100 and $300 tickets have been snapped up.

The cheaper stubs allow patrons access to the casino only, while those with the more expensive ones will be able to compete in a poker tournament overseen by hall-of-famer Phil Hellmuth.

Hellmuth wrote in his Card Player blog at the end of last month that he will be performing emcee duties during the competition.

He has revealed in the past that he is a good friend of Longoria and her husband Tony Parker, a basketball player with the San Antonio Spurs, and has eaten at the couple's restaurant.

The Spurs are among the sponsors of the evening along with a major poker website.
