Gaming expert Frank Scoblete has been vocal in his criticism of those who choose to place the inside bets during craps sessions.
Responding to a Casino City Times writer called Steve S who said that wagering that way is "the most fun", Mr Scoblete compared the method to drink-driving.
"While placing the inside bets is not illegal or immoral, it is dumb," the Frank Scoblete's Casino Killer College mogul commented.
"You are giving the house about 2.6 per cent edge over you. I just don't see how this can be fun."
Along with blackjack and baccarat, craps is one of the casino games with the lowest house advantage, although this depends on what strategy a player chooses to employ, according to the Southtown Star.
In some cases, a player can give the house an enormous 11.11 per cent edge, the newspaper said.
Republican presidential candidate John McCain is known to be a fan of playing craps.
