Poker has kept its place inside the top 40 of Lycos's search term rankings list.
The sport was the 40th most commonly typed in phrase last week for the second seven-day period in a row.
It remains ahead of former frontrunner Eva Longoria in 41st, but was overtaken by both American Idol and Inuyasha. These terms moved from 49th to 39th and 47th to 37th respectively.
The lack of major tournaments at the minute is perhaps the reason why poker has not made much progress up the table since re-entry three weeks ago.
Big news about Katie Holmes possibly performing on Broadway and Emma Watson's 18th birthday have ensured those two the first couple of places.
Whether poker will be able to challenge these celebrities in the coming weeks remains to be seen but it perhaps stands its best chance when the World Series of Poker begins in Las Vegas at the end of May.
