The Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas was the focus of many people's attentions over the weekend when the world's best nine-ball pool players met to contest the 2008 Masters.
"A packed crowd" gathered to watch Alex Pagulayan's 8-6 triumph over Mika Immonen, according to the tournament's official website.
It was the first time the event, which was formerly known as the European Pool Masters, has been held outside of Europe and judging by the crowds for the final, it would perhaps be safe to say it was a success.
The Riviera is best known for its links with the movie industry, having appeared in the original Ocean's Eleven, Casino and recent blackjack film 21 among others.
It has also been famous for hosting some of the biggest names in show business, with Liberace and Dean Martin both doing headlining stints in the past.
As well as the top pool action over the weekend, those in attendance will have had the opportunity to play a variety of games spread of the casino's 100,000 sq ft gambling floor.
