World class poker star Roy Winston has gone on record as saying he is a fan of playing the card game on the internet.
Winston, who won the World Poker Tour Bogata Poker Open in 2007, explained in his Card Player blog how he used to have negative feelings about online gaming, but has become a convert since signing a contract with a major website.
"I have come full circle and have started to really like it," Winston remarked.
Before giving the medium a go, which he has been doing over the last month, a question on internet poker would have caused Winston to be disparaging about the online scene.
"I would have rolled my eyes and launched into a diatribe about the overwhelmingly negative perception I had about it," he added.
Winston has said in the past he is not impressed by the number of players on the internet who are rude to their opponents.
