Carnevino 'among Palazzo's best'

Italian steakhouse Carnevino has been complimented by an appearance in a list of the Palazzo resort's best restaurants.

The Las Vegas Times mentioned the eatery along with three others as being a fine dining highlight of Sheldon Adelson's exclusive five-star casino.

Carnevino is operated by Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich, a famous culinary partnership which runs several restaurants throughout New York City.

Batali is one of the country's most famous chefs and he will be able to add the local newspaper's compliment to his growing list of accolades, which includes recognition from the Michelin Restaurant Guide.

Carnevino's bar opens at 17:00 local time, while food is on offer from 17:30 to 23:00 every night of the week.

That Palazzo's website claims it offers "high-quality American meat" and "authentic Italian cuisine", as well as Batali and Bastianich's "first-ever international wine list".

Other restaurants mentioned as being among the Palazzo's best were Cut, Table 10 and Restaurant Charlie.
