Brunson hints at April date for Antonius game

Doyle Brunson has suggested that his hotly anticipated poker match with Patrik Antonius could happen in April.

The ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner wrote in his blog that he does not know when he will see the Fin, but it is probable it will be at the Bellagio next month.

Antonius recently challenged Brunson to a high-stakes cash game and said he would even allow the Texan legend to choose the poker variant.

A confident Brunson remarked: "I'm sure I will be seeing Patrik soon […] and we will see if he was serious about his challenge of playing me any game.

"I promise I won't back out if I get to pick the games. If he beats me at that, I'll seriously consider retiring."

The Bellagio's poker room is the largest in Las Vegas and arguably the most famous of its kind in the world.
