Cat Depot's second charity casino event of the year has generated yet another $50,000 for felines in need of a home.
More than 200 people attended the event known as Cat'Sino Night, with Michaels on East in Sarasota, Florida again playing host, the local Herald Tribune reports.
The number of attendees is similar to the evening in January, when an estimated 250 people turned up.
Casino games on offer included blackjack, poker and roulette, while tapas was also available to the guests.
A silent auction generated the rest of the money, which will help with the adoption of 200 owner-less cats.
The Cat Depot event is not the first animal-friendly gambling night to have hit the headlines this week.
Jennifer Harman hosted an online tournament for the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals over the weekend, generating more than $30,000 for mistreated creatures.
