Strict rules and fierce competition seem to be the order of the day new poker series in Molokai, a Hawaiian island.
According to the Molokai Times, Paddlers' games have already attracted around 30 competitors.
Molokai, claiming to be the "most Hawaiian" of all the islands, has no buildings exceeding the height of a palm tree, according to the Visit Molokai website.
Paddles' poker players can also enjoy fishing, mountain biking, scuba diving and golf on the island.
But everything is not so laidback when the game is on. According to the Molokai Times, the new poker series - which follows the success of a winter Texas hold'em tournament - comes with strict rules.
Apart from the fact that all competitors need to carry identification, players are not allowed to swear during the games.
Up for grabs is a top prize of a trip to Las Vegas, which includes flights, accommodation and the opportunity to play in a $1,000 buy-in Texas hold'em event in Sin City.
