Malcolm McDonald is leading Card Player's player of the year race by 310 points following the last update.
The Canadian, who scored his biggest win at the European Poker Tour's German Open in February, heads the field on 2,924 points, in front of Phil Ivey in second.
Ivey stormed up the rankings last week with a huge win at the World Poker Tour's LA Poker Classic main event and was boosted even further when he finished third at the National Heads-Up Poker Championship.
These victories also helped him to the second highest winnings total of $1,721,000. Only Bertrand Grospellier has made more, with $2 million.
Multiple player of the year winner Men Nguyen is in third place and holds the most number of final table appearances out of those in the top ten.
McDonald has not won a competition in the last 30 days.
