The long-anticipated return of ground-breaking poker TV series Late Night Poker took place this week.
Broadcast on Tuesday night, the first heat of the series was won by Ian Frazer, who will now head to the final table to compete for the $125,000 first prize, according to Eurosport.
Simon Trumper, a former winner and multiple World Series of Poker place-finisher, came second.
Frazer had twice as big a stack as Trumper going into the heads up and wrapped things up quickly, eventually winning with a full house.
Trumper will have to compete in a runner-up semi-final to see if he can get a place at the final table.
The remaining six heats will continue to be played out through January and February, with top players such as World Series of Poker bracelet winner Annette Obrestad, European Poker Tour money-finishing record holder Julian Thew and ex-winner Padraig Parkinson all taking part.
