Leading security firm Vigilant Technology has announced that it has won a £4 million supplier deal with six US casinos.
The contract, in which Vigilant will have exclusive supplier rights with the company which owns the casinos, will last for three years, Thomson Financial reported.
It is not known which casino operator Vigilant has a deal with, however, apparently it has a "flagship" property in Las Vegas and has a new casino on the way in the north-east of the country.
According to its website, Vigilant provide "intelligent IP-based digital video/audio solutions for high-end CCTV security and surveillance markets" - and that is exactly what they will be doing as part of this deal.
Vigilant will not only install the surveillance systems in the casino operator's existing businesses, but also in any future developments which may be built over the next three years.
