It used to be one of the biggest events on the poker calendar, but this year's United States Poker Championship snuck under the radar.
Having been dropped by broadcaster ESPN who wanted to focus on the World Series of Poker instead, this year's tournament Texas Hold 'Em tournament saw the lowest number of competitors since 2003.
In a noticeable decline from last year's 225 participants, only 163 took part this time, each paying $10,000 to compete.
Adam Gerber took home the top prize of $606,000, with Louis Lee coming second ($318,160) and Mathew Glantz third ($159,080).
The tournament was held at Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City where it has been held every year since its debut in 1996.
Gerber's prize money is significantly less than in recent years, with last year's winner Alex Jacobs taking home $878,800 in comparison.
