Second WPC gathering confirmed

The second World Poker Congress gathering has been scheduled for November 29th and 30th, 2007 and Jeffrey Pollack and Steve Lipscomb will be keynote speakers, the World Poker Congress (WPC) has confirmed.

Taking place at the Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julian's, Malta, the event will be an opportunity to "examine the synergy between the traditional land-based and online poker industry", according to the WPC.

Topics to be discussed will include how to manage tournaments, rake, fraud and the introduction of new games.

Both Jeffrey Pollack and Steve Lipscomb are high profile members of the poker community.

Jeffrey Pollack is vice president of sports and entertainment marketing for Harrahs, while is best known for his success in the creation of the World Poker Tour.
