The Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City is to hold a unique executive poker event from May 19th to May 25th, it has been revealed.
The CEO Poker Tour will focus on the now-standard Texas Hold'Em poker variant, with buy-ins ranging from $500 to $5,000.
Organisers say that table-side food service and special high-limit sections will be available at the venue during play, and have emphasised the special relationship between executives and the game itself.
"Poker has become a mental challenge for executive players, as they use their Board room skills in the poker room to network and battle against their executive opponents," commented CEO poker chief executive William Peraza, speaking to the Poker Player website.
"It is a natural, because this is one of the few games were men and women compete side-by-side in a level playing field," he added.
