Particularly high growth is expected in the US which is the world's largest gambling market with expected generated revenues of $74.5 billion by 2010 if the established 6.9 per cent growth rate continues.
Online gambling revenue is expected to double by 2010 from $5.1 billion to $11.4 billion.
The report also stated there will be a huge growth in the gambling sector in the Asia-Pacific region with a predicted 14 per cent increase, which will help to spearhead the total revenue increase from $82.2 billion in 2005 to $125 billion by 2010.
